How do credits work?

Every call spends credits from your monthly balance, and the amount reflects the work done. A plain HTTP fetch is 1 credit, a headless-browser render is 5, a residential fetch is 10, and a residential render against a hostile target is 40. Web search is 5, and an AI answer is 20 plus 5 per source fetched. A cache hit bills 1.

What happens when a call fails?

You aren’t charged. Anti-bot blocks, timeouts, and upstream failures all bill 0 credits, because we only bill for delivered content. A delivered 404 bills 1 credit — the target was reached and it answered.

Do I need a monthly plan, or can I pay as I go?

Either. Plans bundle credits at a lower effective rate and raise your concurrency; pay-as-you-go tops up at $0.0002 per credit with no commitment. The free tier gives you 1,000 credits a month and needs no card.

Are any endpoints locked behind higher plans?

No. Every plan includes every endpoint, every proxy tier, and JS rendering. Higher plans buy more credits, more concurrency, and priority — not extra features.

Does a JavaScript-heavy or anti-bot protected site cost more?

Yes, because it costs more to deliver. We pick the cheapest method that actually works for each target and bill the tier that succeeded, so soft pages stay at 1 credit and only genuinely hostile ones reach the 40-credit residential render tier.

Can I cancel or change plans at any time?

Yes. Plans are month to month with no contract — upgrade, downgrade, or cancel whenever you like.
